Episode 26 - The Beast

The Beast roared (get it?) onto A&E in January 2009, slashing and clawing (get it?) the cable-based, same-time-slot competition, of which there was none. However, it had to stay behind and lick its wounds (get it?) when Patrick Swayze’s worsening prostate cancer did not allow him to continue prowling (get it?) the airwaves. So, with its leader of the pack (get it?), alpha male (get it?), head of the pride (GET IT?) out of the jungle (GET IT? DO YOU?), the Beast was shot to death by the kind of gun one might use against a large, mammalian predator (OH MY LORD DO YOU GET IT?). But now, thanks to the magic of DVD, you too can mount this crime drama on your wall of taxidermy (THESE ARE JOKES ABOUT BEASTS).
